DigniTech, founded in April 2025, is a social initiative committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with neurodegenerative diseases and reduced cognitive capacities. We plan to achieve this through AI-driven innovation and social stimuli. Our approach begins with understanding resident needs via surveys. We then aim to develop and distribute a prototype platform combining eye-tracking, facial recognition, and keystrokes to ease communication barriers. This includes iterative design based on feedback. Further, we intend to establish a student volunteer network for social engagement to alleviate the social isolation of the elderly. Finally, DigniTech has launched a podcast featuring experts discussing AI's potential in geriatric care. These combined interventions seek to remove social and communication barriers, fostering a better quality of life for residents.
