Sanaya Kotecha, founder of DigniTech, is a high school student at Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai. She has a tremendous interest in psychology, and hopes to pursue it in the future. Her specialized interets span cognitive science, neuroscience, and neuroinformatics, centering specifically on individuals with neurodegenerative conditions. This academic commitment has been distinguished by a series of notable achievements, including being a Finalist at IRIS 2025, receiving the CREST Gold Award in October 2025, and demonstrating consistent excellence in the Global Technovation Competition, securing Semi-Finalist placements in 2024 and 2026, and a Quarter-Finalist placement in 2023.
An active participant in her community, she has previously been a volunteer at the Jai Vakeel Foundation, Soundspace, as well as the National Association for the Blind. Sanaya is an all-rounder student, who takes part in Hackathons and Coding Competitions, as well as the Interact Club in school. Outside of academics, Sanaya is a vocalist, and has been training for nearly a decade. She is also a writer, and writes about Mental Health, Culture, and people.
Her dreams involve creating a more equal, accepting, and dignified world for all. Sanaya hopes to bring a true change through her work, and continues to invest herself wholeheartedly in all her work.
